Community Rights US is always looking for new volunteers to do one-off tasks, or to join our mostly unpaid core team to do essential, ongoing work with us. If you would like to communicate with us about any of the tasks listed below, please send us an email.

Event Planning & Hosting

• Planning & hosting a workshop, or our Hidden in Plain Sight photo exhibit, or a “Roasting 200 Years of Corporate ‘Rights” event in your town
• Hosting a major public talk event on ‘Community Rights & the Green New Deal’
• Know of a Portland OR venue that would host regular CRUS workshops? Let us know!

Writing, Editing, & Graphic Design

• Basic editing of audio & video talks & interviews
• Translating our materials into Spanish
• Designing our new flyer & other publicity materials
• Creating a national marketing campaign for Paul’s new book
• Creating a new Wikipedia page for our beloved colleague Jane Anne Morris who passed away in May 2019

Fundraising

• Phone banking
• Encouraging those you know to make monthly or one-time  donation.
• Donating frequent flyer miles to help us cut travel costs to our nationwide network of active CR community groups

Website & Tech Support

• Media team liaison with local Community Rights groups
• Periodic updating of our Ordinances database
• Transferring numerous articles from an old website to the new one
• Transferring dozens of audio files from an old site to our PodBean page
• Becoming our ongoing Moderator for our soon-to-launch News Feed Comments section
• Weekly updating of our website calendar

Research, Outreach & Administration

• Updating the Corporate Constitutional “Rights” Timeline
• Ongoing data entry
• Inviting your friends, family & co-workers to subscribe to our monthly newsletter, “Like” us on Facebook & Twitter, subscribe to our TV channel on Youtube & our audio channel on PodBean
