This extraordinary timeline was originally created by Jan Edwards. It’s a great educational tool to explain how corporations have used the legal system to gain corporate personhood and other constitutional “rights”, primarily through the US Supreme Court beginning in 1819, and how people have organized to gain constitutional rights through amendments (with a few exceptions).

From the link above, you can print out the entire timeline on eight sheets of paper, and then tape them together, accordion style! Or send this link to your specialty printer to have them produce a 2 foot by 11 foot timeline, or a 3 foot by 17 foot timeline – great for classrooms!

An 11-page Timeline of Personhood Rights and Powers, last updated in 2017, can be found HERE.

Community Rights US is working on an expanded timeline, with additional court cases and many layers of hyperlinks. We are looking for volunteers for this fascinating research project. We hope to have the new Timeline completed by the end of 2018. To volunteer, please email Info@CommunityRights.US. Thanks!
