Community Rights US Program Coordinator 

Community Rights US (CRUS) is at the fore of a grassroots revolution of municipal civil disobedience through local law-making to the corporate-captured systems of law and governance.

We are looking for a motivated, dynamic, and organized Program Coordinator who shares our passion and will facilitate our programs efficiently and collaboratively. We seek a Program Coordinator with an expansive vision, who will manage our projects and work closely with our staff and board to grow our organization and our impact. This position is currently 100% remote (work from home).


Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning, organization, and direction of CRUS operations and programs.
  • Oversees and reports on the organization’s progress for board of directors.
  • Coordinates with board, staff, and volunteers to ensure adequate support and follow-through.
  • Ensures robust services and funding.
  • Develops productive and collaborative relationships with a broad range of allies, partners, and potential funding sources.
  • Proactively addresses challenges in the internal and external environment to protect the organization.
  • Acts as one of the main public faces for CRUS, with a writing and speaking style that is engaging, inspirational, inclusive.

Education, experience, and other requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  •  5 or more years of non-profit management, program coordination, or executive or supervisory experience

Hours:
5-10  hours / week

Pay rate & benefits:
Pay starts at $17/hr and can be negotiated DOE.
