This film was created in collaboration with residents of Gold Beach, Oregon and examines the implications of statewide use of aerial herbicide spray on private timberland as illuminated through the Gold Beach experience. On October 16, 2013, a helicopter spraying herbicides over clearcuts in Cedar Valley took multiple trips over a stretch of homes. Herbicides leaked onto the local communities and water sources, including their drinking water. Interviews with residents give insight into the health effects of aerial herbicide drift, the efforts residents made to report exposure, seek medical support and stricter regulations, and changes residents hope to see in the future. Drift was created in the Winter of 2015 by students enrolled in the Environmental Leadership Program at the University of Oregon.
