The ordinance was approved by voters in May 2017, but was challenged in a lawsuit filed by landowners Rex Capri and Wakefield Farms, who rely on aerial spraying of pesticides. The court heard the arguments in October 2017, and has still not ruled as of February 2019! Thus until a ruling has been announced, the spraying prohibition stands.
