Stories like this one are a continuing and painful reminder of how out-of-touch with reality are our nation’s biggest enviro groups and the Democrat establishment that supports them. The Migratory Bird Treaty Act is “the most effective bird conservation law on the books,” proclaims the National Audubon Society. “This is a huge victory for birds and it comes at a critical time – science tells us that we’ve lost 3 billion birds in less than a human lifetime and that two-thirds of North American birds are at risk of extinction due to climate change.”
A huge victory for birds? Seriously?
Our nation’s normalized daily industrial killing machine is already killing billions of birds and threatening extinction, ENTIRELY LEGALLY, under the regime of the regulatory legal framework already in place. So pResident tRump’s attempt to circumvent this existing law cannot possibly make things that much worse. Maybe four instead of three billion birds will die?
