This video can be used as a tool to inspire, inform, educate and empower yourself and others on what it will take to start a campaign to pass a Right to a Healthy Climate ordinance in your community. The Washburn County Community Alliance (WCCRA), a citizen group in Wisconsin that I am a founder and member of, is currently campaigning to pass a Right to a Healthy Climate Ordinance in the Town of Chicog. We have been working with citizens and elected officials for over a year now in our efforts. We’ve hosted workshops, held documentary showings, sent out surveys, attended public meetings etc. And this video I would consider to be an essential tool in moving any rights based legislation forward in your community.
