Thomas Linzey is a co-founder of the Community Environmental Legal Defense Fund and serves as chief legal counsel. He has been involved in countless struggles against oil and gas extraction, factory farms, water privatization, mining, and other industrial projects. His law firm was instrumental in Ecuador including rights for nature in their constitution.
