On July 17, I argued to Athens Common Pleas Judge George McCarthy that the decision of the Athens County Board of Elections that prevented the proposed Athens County Charter from being placed on the ballot should be reversed. The history and issues surrounded the proposed charter are complex, and getting more so by the day.
